Hongqi and Huawei Team Up with "Triple Smart, Dual Intelligence" Model; New Car to Feature Qiankun Smart Driving and HarmonyOS Cockpit

At the High-Level Forum on Intelligent Electric Vehicle Development held in April 2026, Yu Zhi Jin, CEO of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solution BU, outlined three cooperation models under Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Automotive Solutions: Full-Stack, Triple-Smart Dual-Smart, and Component-based. FAW Hongqi has adopted the "Triple-Smart Dual-Smart" model in its collaboration with Huawei, and upcoming vehicles will be equipped with Huawei's Qiankun Intelligent Driving and HarmonyOS Smart Cockpit technologies. Additionally, reports indicate that FAW Hongqi plans to launch a vehicle in 2026 featuring Huawei’s Full-Stack solution, which will include Qiankun Intelligent Driving, HarmonyOS Cockpit, Qiankun Vehicle Control, and Qiankun Vehicle Cloud Services. The partnership between the two companies was officially confirmed at Huawei’s Qiankun Ecosystem Conference in November 2025.
