LG Innotek has secured an order from a leading European automotive parts supplier to supply automotive-grade Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth wireless communication modules starting in 2027. The total value of the order amounts to approximately USD 68 million (around RMB 464 million). Based on Qualcomm chips, the module comprises more than 150 components, supports 320MHz bandwidth and MIMO technology, and measures roughly one-sixth the size of a credit card. It can operate reliably in extreme temperatures ranging from -40°C to +105°C. The modules will be used in in-vehicle audio, video, and navigation systems, with plans to expand their application to rear-seat entertainment systems, TCUs (Telematics Control Units), and DCUs (Domain Control Units).
