Tao Qing, spokesperson for the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and Director-General of the Bureau of Operation Monitoring and Coordination, stated that the ministry will prioritize three key initiatives moving forward: First, strengthening top-level planning by accelerating the formulation of the "15th Five-Year Plan" for sectors such as intelligent connected new energy vehicles, and developing guidelines to promote the innovative development of intelligent equipment. Second, stabilizing industry operations by implementing new rounds of growth-stabilization plans for sectors including machinery, automotive, and power equipment, continuously advancing equipment upgrades and vehicle trade-in programs, and standardizing industrial competition practices. Third, focusing on technological breakthroughs by consistently carrying out the High-Quality Development Initiative for Key Industrial Chains in the Equipment Manufacturing Sector, intensifying efforts on landmark product development, and promoting the application and adoption of breakthrough achievements.
