Zhijie V9 Launches with Pre-orders Starting at ¥399,800, Powered by Huawei Technologies

On April 22, at the Harmony Intelligent Mobility Spring New Product Launch Event, the company announced that pre-orders for its first flagship MPV, the Luxeed V9, are now open, with a starting pre-sale price of RMB 399,800. Customers who place a reservation will enjoy a RMB 5,000 deposit credit redeemable for RMB 10,000 off the final payment. The Luxeed V9 is built on Huawei’s Tuling MPV-customized platform, featuring a front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link suspension setup. Rear-wheel steering is standard across all trims, offering a maximum rear-wheel steering angle of ±7° and a minimum turning radius of 5.35 meters. Inside, the cabin features a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, dual 17.2-inch smart center displays, and a 21.4-inch ceiling-mounted screen. It debuts with full-vehicle NFC functionality and supports MagLink Mini screen certification for seamless information sharing. The vehicle incorporates 79 acoustic packages and 11 pieces of laminated acoustic glass for superior noise insulation. The second-row windows feature intelligent privacy glass with a response time of ≤1 second and 99.6% light-blocking capability, complemented by independent audio zones that isolate over 90% of conversation audio. The body-in-white adopts an “11-crossbeam, 6-longitudinal” structural layout, with high-strength steel, hot-stamped steel, and aluminum accounting for 91.6% of the total—of which submarine-grade hot-stamped steel makes up 25.1%. For seating, the second row offers zero-gravity seats equipped with mechanical massage and active side bolsters. The sliding rails span 539 mm, supporting multiple configurations: 45° welcome mode, 90° viewing mode, and 180° face-to-face rotation. The third row provides nearly 1 meter of headroom and legroom, with ±100 mm fore-aft adjustability—delivering up to 1.29 meters of legroom in extreme configurations. Both second- and third-row seats fold flat. The vehicle includes 52 storage compartments, a standard trunk capacity of 790 liters, a hidden 94-liter under-floor storage box beneath the trunk cover, and a maximum expandable volume of 1,534 liters. The Luxeed V9 debuts with an intelligent constant-cooling refrigerator (10.9L capacity), offering dual-zone temperature control from -6°C to 15°C and 35°C to 50°C. Equipped with cold-storage agents and a high-displacement 40cc compressor, it can cool from 32°C to 0°C in just 15 minutes and maintain cold temperatures for over 12 hours without power at an ambient temperature of 30°C. It also introduces an onboard oxygen generator capable of delivering 8–10 liters of oxygen per minute. In manufacturing, the Luxeed V9 is the world’s first vehicle to utilize electromagnetic thermal-controlled die-casting technology, integrating 78 components into one piece—reducing weight by 15.5%, eliminating 760 weld points, and increasing component yield strength by over 55%. For safety, the Luxeed V9 comes standard with 13 airbags spanning all three rows, including full-surround airbags, Pre-Crash seat rapid-return function, integrated seatbelt airbags, and seat cushion airbags. The third row features a submarine-grade hot-stamped steel core frame, dedicated side airbags, and curtain airbags. The battery pack employs a five-layer structural design ensuring “zero intrusion” of battery cells during collisions. Post-collision, it activates redundant safety modules, automatically lowers windows by 50 mm, and proactively connects to the eCall emergency service. Currently, the first batch of Luxeed V9 display vehicles has begun arriving at dealerships nationwide.
