Magna Seating Jinan Branch Registers, Supplying BYD Seagull and Seal 06

On April 15, 2026, Magna Seating (Zhuozhou) Co., Ltd. Jinan Branch completed its business registration. The branch is under Magna Seating (Zhuozhou) Co., Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Magna Seating (Chongqing) Co., Ltd., and will primarily supply complete seat assemblies for two BYD Ocean Network models—the Seal 06 and Dolphin. Previously, Magna operated only one seating joint venture in Shandong Province: Qingdao Huatie Magna Seating Co., Ltd. The establishment of the Jinan branch marks Magna’s second seating production entity in Shandong, helping to shorten its supply chain radius, reduce logistics costs, and enhance delivery responsiveness and stability. The new facility is also seen as a critical support for scaling up production capacity for the aforementioned popular BYD models and fills a key gap in Jinan’s new energy vehicle industrial chain.
