On April 23, the "2026 Automotive Industry Report" released its "Top 100 Global Automotive Brands by Value 2026" ranking. Toyota retained its top position for the consecutive year, ahead of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Volkswagen, Porsche, and Tesla. A total of 24 Chinese brands made the list, with BYD ranking highest among them at No. 11. Aito, with a brand value of $3.448 billion, ranked first among China's luxury automotive brands and stood as the only Chinese brand in the global top 10 luxury automotive brands. The ranking was published by Brand Finance, a UK-based brand valuation consultancy, and is widely regarded as a key reference for automotive brand valuations worldwide.
