On April 25, 2026, at the Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, Guangting Information officially launched SDW AIKO, an automotive software development platform designed for the AI-native era. As a core component of the Super Software Factory SDW 3.0, this platform aims to redefine the paradigm of automotive software development. As vehicle intelligence accelerates, traditional development models face challenges such as low human-AI collaboration efficiency and inflexible waterfall-style processes. SDW AIKO leverages AI Agents to drive the entire lifecycle of automotive software engineering, enabling deep human-AI collaboration across all stages—from project initiation to continuous optimization—effectively transforming AI into a collaborative development partner. The platform has already established an end-to-end closed-loop pipeline for automated parking scenarios, spanning from requirements definition to on-vehicle deployment. It plans to gradually expand into domains such as intelligent cockpits, ADAS, and body control, offering fully automated development capabilities compliant with ASPICE standards. SDW AIKO covers eight key capability areas: requirements analysis, architecture design, AUTOSAR configuration, code review, system and unit testing, deliverable inspection, and knowledge base construction. SDW AIKO features six major technical innovations: 1) Dynamic Agent orchestration, enabling on-demand assembly of specialized AI agent teams; 2) A knowledge memory system that supports self-evolution by continuously accumulating project experience; 3) A proprietary five-phase execution engine for efficient closed-loop handling of complex tasks; 4) Built-in domain-specific capabilities tailored to automotive software development; 5) A multi-layered security defense system ensuring safe and controllable AI operations; and 6) A six-layer system memory architecture guaranteeing contextual coherence throughout the entire workflow. Emphasizing its domain-specific expertise and end-to-end closed-loop advantages in automotive software, SDW AIKO marks the industry’s entry into a new AI-native era of software development.
