Google DeepMind CEO Visits Korea, Meets Hyundai Motor and LG Group Executives

Demis Hassabis, co-founder and CEO of Google DeepMind, met separately on Tuesday in Seoul with Euisun Chung, Executive Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, and Kwang-mo Koo, Chairman of LG Group. This visit marks Hassabis's first trip to Korea in ten years, with his itinerary beginning upon his arrival in the country on Monday. During a closed-door meeting with Chairman Koo, they discussed potential avenues for deeper collaboration in artificial intelligence. Senior executives from LG Electronics and LG’s AI research lab, both part of the LG Group, also attended the meeting.
