On April 28, Mercedes-Benz officially launched the all-new fully electric CLA260L at the 2026 Beijing International Auto Show, with a nationwide starting price of RMB 229,000. The launch is accompanied by purchase tax subsidies, a two-year 0% interest financing plan, and a "choose-one" premium experience upgrade package: either the limited-edition “Full Sensory Enjoyment Pack” (only 308 units available nationwide) or a 50% discount on selected optional configurations for a limited time. The CLA260L shares nearly identical exterior styling with the CLA300L, featuring a full-illumination grille embedded with 142 LED Star Emblem lights. It measures 4,763 mm in length, 1,836 mm in width, and 1,471 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,830 mm. Designed for low aerodynamic drag, it achieves a drag coefficient of just 0.21. New paint options include MANUFAKTUR Non-Metallic Farao Grey and Ice Sea Blue. Standard equipment includes 18-inch five-spoke light-alloy wheels, with optional 18-inch AMG-style wheels and AMG body styling components. Built on a dedicated EV platform, the vehicle offers a 101-liter front trunk and total storage capacity exceeding 500 liters. For comfort, the front seats come standard with a light massage function, while seat heating and heated steering wheel are available as options. The cabin features a panoramic sunroof and 64-color ambient lighting. An optional Burmester® 3D surround sound system with Dolby Atmos support is available for the audio-visual experience. The driver assistance system, co-developed by Mercedes-Benz and Momenta, includes standard features such as highway navigation assist, 360° intelligent parking, and reversing track assist. Safety features comprise 11 airbags, including front center and knee airbags. Under the hood, the CLA260L adopts an 800-volt electrical architecture paired with a silicon carbide inverter, achieving a power conversion efficiency of 93%. It is equipped with the world’s first two-speed electric transmission specifically optimized for energy efficiency. Under CLTC conditions, it delivers a power consumption of just 11 kWh per 100 km and a range of up to 600 km. A multi-source heat pump system enhances HVAC efficiency in cold weather, ensuring consistent range performance.
