GAC Group Reports Dual Growth in Q1 2026 Sales and Earnings, with Strong Gains in Self-Brands and Overseas Markets

GAC Group reported nearly 380,000 vehicle sales in the first quarter of 2026, an increase of 2.38% year-over-year. Its consolidated operating revenue reached RMB 20.229 billion, up 1.76% year-over-year, while net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company rose by 10.29% year-over-year. Among these results, sales of its self-owned brands reached 166,200 units, surging 42% year-over-year. GAC Aion and GAC Trumpchi posted year-over-year growth of 57.34% and 33.06%, respectively. In overseas markets, GAC Group’s export sales totaled 42,200 vehicles in the first quarter, a remarkable 86% increase year-over-year. At the Beijing Auto Show, GAC Trumpchi unveiled two new models—the Yue 7 and the Trumpchi Xiangwang E8 PHEV—while GAC Aion showcased the Aion N60 and Hyper S600. The GT7, the debut model from “Qijing,” GAC’s premium intelligent EV brand co-developed with Huawei, made its global premiere and is scheduled for market launch in June 2026. During the concurrent GAC Tech Day event, the company unveiled several technological advancements, including Xingyuan Powertrain, Xingjian Body, Xinghe Smart Cabin, and Xingling Architecture 4.0. GAC has partnered with 105 ecosystem collaborators to jointly define, develop, and validate nearly 400 chip designs. The Hyper GT-Climb Edition, the first vehicle featuring a 100% domestically designed chip, will launch in May 2026.
