Yijing X9 Six-Seater SUV Unveiled with Huawei Laser Projection and ADS 5.0

On April 30, Yijing Auto announced the official launch of its first large six-seater SUV, the Yijing X9. The vehicle is equipped with HUAWEI X SCENE in-car laser projection technology, featuring a 2000:1 contrast ratio, 98% DCI-P3 wide color gamut, and certified by TÜV Rheinland for low blue light emission. It supports Single-User Mode, Multi-User Mode, and Dynamic Island Mode. Buyers can choose between an overhead soft-light screen for rear passengers or a laser projector; notably, the soft-light screen maintains clear visibility even in bright ambient lighting conditions. The Yijing X9 debuts with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system and comes standard across all trims with dual-path, image-grade 896-line LiDAR, offering L3-level hardware and software redundancy. The cabin runs on Harmony Space 6, powered by Huawei’s HarmonyOS, and features dual 17.2-inch butterfly-wing displays for front occupants, supporting independent NFC-based interactions on both screens. Integrated with Huawei’s XiaoYi AI agent and a multimodal perception system, the cabin enables functions such as pinch-protection and child-left-behind alerts. Built on the Chitu platform—powered by Huawei’s XMC Qiankun Digital Chassis Engine—the X9 features an all-aluminum chassis tuned by a European engineering team. For safety, it incorporates Huawei’s Qiankun CAS 5.0 comprehensive safety system, with a body structure utilizing 2400 MPa ultra-high-strength hot-stamped steel and a battery pack protected by triple-layer bulletproof-grade armor. The vehicle measures 5,301 mm in length, 2,015 mm in width, and has a wheelbase of 3,120 mm, with an expected starting price of approximately RMB 500,000.
