EVE Energy Unveils Large Cylindrical Batteries at 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Powering Multiple Premium Models

On April 24, 2026, the 19th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition opened. EVE Energy set up a booth in Hall A2 of the new exhibition complex under the theme “EVE Large-Format Cylindrical Cells: The Premium Choice for High-End Vehicles,” showcasing its 46-series large-format cylindrical batteries and integrated system solutions. At the center of the booth stood a 6-meter-tall physical cylindrical cell installation, serving as the visual focal point and underscoring EVE’s strategic positioning in this technological pathway. The exhibit also systematically demonstrated the company’s full-chain technical capabilities—from cell materials and structural design to system integration—with on-site engineers explaining key performance metrics of large-format cylindrical cells, including safety, fast-charging capability, and energy density. Making its global debut at the show, BMW’s next-generation iX3 Long Wheelbase is equipped with EVE’s large-format cylindrical cells, paired with an 800V high-voltage architecture across the entire vehicle platform, delivering a CLTC-rated range exceeding 900 km and achieving an impressive real-world range of 1,007.7 km in testing. Additionally, a full-scenario luxury off-road SUV from FAW Hongqi featuring the same battery technology was also unveiled at the exhibition. Beyond large-format cylindrical cells, EVE’s prismatic battery product line is already deployed across multiple vehicle models, including the extended-range version of BAIC Off-road BJ40, Arcfox S3, Leapmotor A10, and Chery Fulwin A9 extended-range variant. During the auto show, senior executives from automakers such as BMW, Porsche, BAIC, XPeng, Li Auto, Changan, FAW, Chery, and Dongfeng visited EVE’s booth to discuss topics including next-generation battery technology roadmaps, global supply chain collaboration, and platform-based定点 projects. Meanwhile, EVE’s management team also visited booths of partners like BAIC and Leapmotor to further deepen cooperation.
