NVIDIA is collaborating with Chery Automobile across three key areas—advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), AI-powered digital cockpits, and robotics—to jointly develop physical AI technologies. Chery will adopt NVIDIA’s DRIVE Hyperion platform for its L3/L4 intelligent vehicles in the Chinese market and independently develop its own autonomous driving software stack based on NVIDIA’s toolchain and development platforms, leveraging NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure to support tasks such as autonomous driving model training. In the domain of cockpit AI, Chery is developing a next-generation intelligent cockpit based on the NVIDIA DRIVE platform, integrating generative AI technologies to enhance human-vehicle interaction. The partnership also extends into cutting-edge fields like embodied intelligence, supporting Chery’s expansion into robotics. Meanwhile, the NVIDIA DRIVE Hyperion platform continues to gain broad ecosystem support. Companies including Desay SV, WeRide, Pony.ai, and DeepRoute.ai have announced progress on solutions built upon this platform, accelerating the large-scale deployment of Robotaxis. Underpinning the DRIVE Hyperion architecture is NVIDIA Halos. On the vehicle-side AI application front, multiple companies are advancing production-ready solutions based on the NVIDIA DRIVE platform: MediaTek has showcased an active-agent intelligent cockpit solution; Alibaba has deployed its Qwen-Omni multimodal large model on the platform; Lenovo Car Computing has launched an integrated cockpit-and-driving intelligent computing platform; ByteDance’s Volcano Engine is developing customized AI software; Pateo is utilizing the AI computing power of the DRIVE AGX Thor chip to support its AI BOX product; and ThunderSoft has introduced an in-vehicle AI agent operating system based on NVIDIA’s NemoClaw reference software stack.
