On April 28, Great Wall Motor and China Auto Rental held a signing ceremony for a procurement framework agreement and vehicle delivery event in Beijing. The two parties announced that, building on China Auto Rental’s cumulative purchase of over 10,000 Tank 300 units in recent years, the company will procure an additional 10,000 units of this model in the future. The collaboration will also explore the application of other Great Wall Motor brands—including Haval and WEY—in various car rental scenarios. By introducing more vehicle models, China Auto Rental aims to diversify its fleet structure and enhance its service capabilities for different customer segments. Meanwhile, Great Wall Motor leverages the rental channel to expand real-world user experiences with its products, thereby broadening brand awareness and reaching potential customers through new touchpoints. The Tank 300 is currently priced between RMB 199,800 and RMB 249,800 and is available in three powertrain variants: gasoline, diesel, and Hi4-T. Its dimensions are 4,750 mm (length) × 1,930 mm (width) × 1,903 mm (height), with a wheelbase of 2,750 mm. - The gasoline version features a 2.0L turbocharged direct-injection engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission (9AT), delivering a maximum net power of 162 kW and peak net torque of 380 N·m. - The diesel variant is equipped with a 2.4L turbocharged direct-injection engine, also mated to a 9AT, producing a maximum net power of 135 kW and peak net torque of 480 N·m. - The Hi4-T model combines a 2.0T engine with a front-mounted electric motor, supporting pure electric, hybrid, and intelligent driving modes. Under WLTC conditions, it offers a pure electric range of 105 km. The system delivers a combined maximum net power of 180 kW, with the engine generating up to 380 N·m of torque and the electric motor providing a maximum output of 120 kW and 400 N·m of torque.
