Dongfeng Yipai M8 to Launch in May with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5

Yipai Technology announced that its sales volume reached 20,537 units in April 2026, with cumulative sales from January to April increasing by 18% year-over-year. The company’s first intelligent six-seater SUV, the Yipai M8, is scheduled for launch in May. The M8 will be among the world’s first vehicles equipped with Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system and will integrate five core intelligent technologies: HarmonyOS Cockpit, Qiankun Vehicle Control, Qiankun Vehicle Cloud, and WhaleFin Communications. Positioned for family users, the Yipai M8 emphasizes an intelligent, comfortable, and safe mobility experience. Key components are supplied by global partners including CATL, Bosch, ZF Friedrichshafen, and Fuyao Glass. Additionally, Dongfeng Yipai plans to roll out two mid-to-large SUVs and one mid-size coupe later this year, all featuring Huawei’s Qiankun Smart Automotive Solution.
