Beijing Auto Show 2026 Closes: Dual-Venue Format Sets Global Attendance Record with 1.28 Million Visitors

The 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition concluded successfully on May 3 at the China International Exhibition Center (Shunyi Venue) and the Capital International Convention and Exhibition Center in Beijing. For the first time, this year’s auto show adopted a dual-venue, integrated layout model, utilizing a total of 17 exhibition halls across both centers, covering a record-breaking gross exhibition area of 380,000 square meters—the largest in the history of the Beijing Auto Show and setting a new global record for auto exhibition scale. A total of 1,451 vehicles were displayed during the event, including 181 world premieres and 71 concept cars, placing it among the highest globally in terms of debut and concept vehicle numbers. The show attracted a cumulative audience of 1.28 million visitors, including 65,000 international attendees.
