BYD Sealion 07 Named Best Large SUV of 2025 by EU Green NCAP

On May 9, BYD announced that the Sealion 07 has been awarded the title of "Best Large SUV of 2025" by Green NCAP. Green NCAP is an independent organization initiated by the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP), specializing in evaluating vehicles' environmental performance. Its testing standards are rigorous and highly regarded as a key reference in the European market. This award recognizes the Sealion 07's leading-edge performance in Europe in terms of emissions and energy consumption control. Previously, the Sealion 07 EV had already earned dual five-star safety ratings from both Euro NCAP and the Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) in April 2023. In the UK market, the Sealion 07 starts at £44,990 (approximately RMB 414,000), more than double its starting price of RMB 189,800 in the Chinese domestic market.
