The Zhengzhou Municipal People's Government has issued the "Master Plan for Building a Beautiful Zhengzhou (2025–2035)," which prioritizes the development of emerging and future-oriented industries. In the realm of strategic emerging industries, Zhengzhou aims to cultivate two trillion-yuan industrial clusters—next-generation information technology, and new energy and intelligent connected vehicles—as well as four hundred-billion-yuan clusters in high-end equipment, advanced materials, biopharmaceuticals, and energy conservation and environmental protection. Regarding future industries, the city will focus on key areas such as humanoid robots, artificial intelligence, quantum technology, and the low-altitude economy, while intensifying efforts to break through core technologies. It will support the construction of provincial laboratories, including the Zhongyu Embodied Intelligence Laboratory and the Mozi Laboratory, and accelerate the establishment of the Zhengzhou Institute of World-Class Universities. Zhengzhou also plans to develop specialized industrial parks for future industries, including the Gaoxin Digital Computing Industrial Park, Central Plains Quantum Valley, and Shangjie District Low-Altitude Economy Industrial Park. The city will designate the Central Plains Science and Technology City, Zhengzhou Airport Economy Zone, Zhengzhou High-Tech Zone, and Zhengzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone as core hubs for future industries. Meanwhile, it will promote coordinated development with districts and counties—including Zhongyuan District, Gongyi City, and Xingyang City—in specialized sectors such as humanoid robotics, cutting-edge new materials, aerospace and its applications.
