Haval Menglong PLUS Launches May 15, Starting at ¥189,800

The Haval Menglong PLUS launched its pre-sales on April 18, offering both 5-seat and 7-seat variants with a starting pre-sale price of RMB 189,800. It officially debuted on May 15. Retaining the signature "boxy" design, the vehicle measures 4,912 mm in length, 1,950 mm in width, and 1,905 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm—112 mm longer than the original model. Inside, it features an enveloping cockpit layout equipped with a 15.6-inch 2.5K floating central touchscreen, a W-HUD head-up display system, Coffee OS 3 intelligent cabin system, and the Coffee GPT large AI model. The interior also debuts a new three-spoke multifunction steering wheel while retaining the column-mounted gear shifter and physical buttons beneath the central display. Key features include a 5.4L smart temperature-controlled refrigerator, a 12-speaker audio system (including a driver’s headrest speaker), a 50W wireless fast charger for the front passenger, a foldable tray table, a camping mosquito-repellent lamp, and heated, ventilated, and massaging functions for both front and rear seats. Powering the Menglong PLUS is Great Wall Motor’s Hi4 intelligent electric four-wheel-drive hybrid system. The 1.5T engine delivers a maximum output of 115 kW, while the combined system output reaches 330 kW with a peak torque of 660 N·m, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 5.8 seconds. The vehicle offers two battery chemistries—lithium iron phosphate (LFP) and ternary lithium—with capacities of 23.7 kWh, 33.7 kWh, and 44.7 kWh. Under WLTC conditions, it achieves a maximum all-electric range of 191 km (approximately 255 km under CLTC standards). With a full tank of fuel and a fully charged battery, its combined WLTC driving range exceeds 1,000 km.
