The 2026 BYD Seagull officially launched on May 11, offering four base trim levels with unchanged official guidance prices ranging from RMB 69,900 to RMB 85,900. Among them, the 305km Freedom Edition and the 405km Soaring Edition can be optionally equipped with a LiDAR system, raising their prices to RMB 90,900 and RMB 97,900 respectively. The new model is equipped with the "God’s Eye B" LiDAR-enabled advanced driver-assistance system (DiPilot 300), supporting City Navigation on Autopilot (CNOA) with features such as traffic light recognition and full-scenario obstacle negotiation and yielding, covering a wide range of urban driving scenarios. Externally, it retains the current model’s design but adds two new body colors: Mango Orange and Mint Green. Its dimensions measure 3,780 mm in length, 1,715 mm in width, and 1,540 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,500 mm. Inside, a new Oatmeal Beige interior color is introduced, and all trims come standard with the DiLink 150 advanced infotainment system and a 12.8-inch high-definition floating central touchscreen, supporting 3D vehicle control and deeply customized Amap navigation. In terms of comfort features, the updated Seagull adds automatic climate control, split front headrest seats, four-way adjustable steering wheel, six-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and 50W wireless smartphone charging. For safety, all variants are standard-equipped with full HD 360-degree panoramic imaging, a five-channel dashcam, and Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB). Optional safety features include Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and front/rear collision warning systems.
