Four plug-in extended-range hybrid SUVs from Xiaomi Auto's Pengcheng series have been listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s (MIIT) 409th batch of the "Announcement on Road Motor Vehicle Manufacturers and Products." The models include the Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max Camping Edition, N70, N70 Max, and N90 Max (Multi-Purpose Passenger Vehicle Edition). All models are gasoline-electric hybrids with a top speed of 190 km/h. They are powered by a 1.5L M15DRE engine produced by Harbin Dongan Automotive Engine Co., Ltd., delivering a maximum net power output of 112 kW. Each vehicle is equipped with Bosch ESP10 anti-lock braking system as standard and features a standard Event Data Recorder (EDR). An ETC onboard unit is available as an optional extra. The Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max Camping Edition is classified as a special-purpose passenger vehicle. It comes with a pop-up roof, rooftop bed board, side cabinets, and side awning interfaces. Optional features include an in-cabin projection kit and a detachable table, making it suitable for rest, outdoor team-building activities, and mobile training scenarios. The pop-up roof may only be used when the vehicle is stationary and off public roads. This model uses ternary lithium-ion batteries supplied by China Aviation Lithium Battery Technology Co., Ltd. (CALB), with dual electric motors delivering peak outputs of 210 kW and 100 kW respectively. Its dimensions are 5,285 mm long, 1,998 mm wide, and 1,925 mm high, with a wheelbase of 3,080 mm. Curb weight is 2,840 kg, gross vehicle weight is 3,305 kg, seating capacity is rated for five passengers, and tire options are 255/45R21 or 265/45R21. Both the Xiaomi Pengcheng N70 and N70 Max measure 4,960 mm in length and 1,998 mm in width, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm. The N70 stands 1,785 mm tall, while the N70 Max is slightly lower at 1,765 mm. Both seat five passengers and offer tire options of 245/55R19 or 255/45R21. The N70 has curb weights of either 2,453 kg or 2,505 kg and gross weights of 2,892 kg or 2,944 kg. It uses lithium iron phosphate batteries manufactured by Nanchang Sunwoda New Energy Co., Ltd., with a single motor delivering a peak output of 210 kW. The N70 Max has curb weights of 2,561 kg or 2,610 kg and gross weights of 3,000 kg or 3,049 kg. It features CALB-supplied ternary lithium-ion batteries and dual motors with peak outputs of 210 kW and 100 kW. Under WLTC driving conditions, its fuel consumption is rated at 0.04 L/100 km and 0.05 L/100 km respectively. The Xiaomi Pengcheng N90 Max Multi-Purpose Passenger Vehicle Edition offers both five- and seven-seat configurations. It measures 5,285 mm long, 1,998 mm wide, and 1,825 mm high, with a 3,080 mm wheelbase. Curb weight is 2,800 kg, with gross vehicle weights of either 3,361 kg or 3,265 kg. Tire specifications match those of the N90 Max Camping Edition: 255/45R21 or 265/45R21. Battery and motor configurations are identical to the Camping Edition. This variant also supports optional equipment such as electric running boards, various exterior trims, and badges. All listed models support extensive personalization options, including different colored emblems, trim strips, wheel designs, door handles, and D-pillar badges.
