On September 14, 2026, XPeng Motors officially announced that the China launch event for its large five-seater SUV, the XPeng G9L, is scheduled for 19:00 on September 17. The XPeng G9L opened for pre-orders on August 11, offering two powertrain options: Super Range-Extended and all-electric, with a pre-sale price of RMB 259,800. The vehicle comes standard across all trims with ±15° steer-by-wire rear-wheel steering, achieving a minimum turning radius of 5.4 meters. In terms of dimensions, the XPeng G9L measures 5,120 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width, and 1,782 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,100 mm and a wheelbase-to-length ratio of 0.605. Available exterior colors include Provence Purple, Tuscany Green, Everest White, Fjord Grey, and Polar Night Black. The vehicle features full-width front and rear light strips equipped with 480 individual LED units and adopts a fastback design at the rear. Inside the cabin, the XPeng G9L debuts an intelligent four-motor executive center console. Its integrated table can be deployed via voice command, physical buttons, or touchscreen controls and automatically levels itself in sync with the seatback angle. The armrest integrates a 50W air-cooled wireless fast charger and dual hidden cup holders. The table includes a built-in phone holder and vanity mirror, complemented by an overhead screen and supporting 220V power output. Under the hood, the entire lineup is equipped as standard with an 800V high-voltage ultra-fast charging platform. All range-extended variants feature all-wheel drive, delivering 435 km of pure electric range and a combined range of 1,602 km. The all-electric version offers up to 755 km of range and is available with optional all-wheel drive.
