On October 31, 2026, the FREELANDER Shenxingzhe 8 large five-seat version was officially launched and delivered, offering three trim levels: PRO, MAX, and MAX+. The official guide price ranges from 30.99 to 38.99 million yuan, with a limited-time benefit price of 28.99 to 36.99 million yuan. Benefits include a 10,000 yuan trade-in or first-purchase subsidy for users of non-Chery Jaguar Land Rover brands, a 15,000 yuan trade-in subsidy for Chery Jaguar Land Rover brand users, and a 10,000 yuan purchase tax subsidy across the entire lineup. The benefits run until 24:00 on November 30. The Shenxingzhe 8 was jointly developed by Chery and Jaguar Land Rover. The entire lineup comes standard with 156 core features, covering six major dimensions: electric powertrain, driving control, smart cabin, smart driving, all-terrain capability, and safety. The body measures 5118mm in length with a 3040mm wheelbase, adopting a large five-seat layout. In terms of power, it is equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder range extender based on an 800V range-extender platform. The dual-motor all-wheel-drive system delivers a total output of 610kW and peak torque of 813N·m, achieving 0-100km/h acceleration in 4.6 seconds. CLTC pure electric range is 310km, supporting 6C ultra-fast charging from 20% to 80% in approximately 12 minutes. The range extender generates 3.7 kWh of electricity per liter of fuel and runs on 92-octane gasoline. The chassis comes standard across the lineup with closed dual-chamber air suspension paired with CCD continuously variable damping shock absorbers, a rear-wheel steering system, and three locks: front mechanical lock, rear mechanical lock plus electronically controlled lock. In terms of smart driving, the PRO and MAX versions come standard with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5 Enhanced, featuring Huawei's pioneering in-cabin LiDAR vision Limera solution, covering 47 scenarios. The MAX+ version is equipped with an 896-line dual-optical-path LiDAR and 30 perception sensors, supporting highway and urban navigation assistance, and full-scenario intelligent parking. Highway NCA averages over 1,500 kilometers without intervention. The cabin features the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8397 automotive-grade chip, a 46.3-inch far-screen display, and Harman Kardon audio. The Shenxingzhe 8 large six-seat version was launched on September 3. The FREELANDER brand originates from Jaguar Land Rover's classic model series and was jointly reshaped by Chery and Jaguar Land Rover in 2023 as an independent new energy brand.
