On November 1, 2026, BYD released its October 2026 production and sales report. Data shows that BYD's October sales of new energy vehicles reached approximately 490,200 units, up 10.97% year-on-year; cumulative sales for the first 10 months totaled approximately 3.6217 million units, down 2.16% year-on-year. Among them, October sales of pure electric vehicles reached approximately 305,700 units, up 37.38% year-on-year; October sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles reached approximately 177,400 units, down 17.22% year-on-year. Cumulative sales of pure electric vehicles for the first 10 months reached approximately 1.9357 million units, up 5.86% year-on-year; cumulative sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles reached approximately 1.6260 million units, down 11.02% year-on-year. In addition, BYD exported 170,200 new energy vehicles in October.
