In September 2026, the top ten self-owned brand passenger car brands by sales and their sales figures were as follows: first place BYD, with sales of 391,357 units; second place Chery, with sales of 162,237 units; third place Galaxy, with sales of 130,484 units; fourth place Leapmotor, with sales of 105,656 units; fifth place Geely, with sales of 103,435 units; sixth place MG, with sales of 87,458 units; seventh place Wuling (Silver Badge), with sales of 66,996 units; eighth place Haval, with sales of 66,598 units; ninth place Jetour, with sales of 57,497 units; tenth place Qiyuan, with sales of 51,307 units. Among them, BYD's September sales were nearly 2.4 times those of second-place Chery, accounting for about 32.0% of the top ten's total sales. Both Leapmotor and Geely exceeded 100,000 units in September. Compared with August, the overall ranking of self-owned brand sales in September changed little.
