On November 1, at the Automotive Industry Going Global Model Innovation and Development Conference, Wen Hua, Deputy General Manager of Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor's Import and Export Company, introduced the company's overseas business layout and plans. For markets in Central Asia, Africa, and Latin America, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor has developed natural gas vehicle models, with its LNG solution achieving fuel consumption of 17 kilograms per 100 kilometers. For the Brazilian market, where there are no more than 10 high-voltage charging stations for trucks nationwide, the company has developed an extended-range truck with a pure electric payload range of more than 100 kilometers. In right-hand-drive markets, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor has redesigned its platform and launched four powertrain options—fuel, natural gas, pure electric, and extended-range—for Southeast Asia, East Africa, and Australia. In terms of systemic layout, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor is advancing the "Chengfeng Dual-Engine 2030 Plan" through its dual brands Forthing and Chenglong. It plans to achieve cumulative overseas sales of 1 million units and cumulative investment of 20 billion yuan during the 15th Five-Year Plan period, building 15 new plants on top of its existing 8 overseas factories, covering 12 major countries and radiating to surrounding markets. Brand channels currently cover 120 countries, with plans to add 300 sales channels. In terms of service systems, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor aims to reduce its overseas service radius from an early 160 kilometers to 65 kilometers. In terms of talent development, the company has partnered with local vocational schools in Vietnam, Laos, and Myanmar, and more than 800 person-times have come to China for academic and vocational education. In terms of market data, in Vietnam, one out of every two logistics trucks is a Chenglong; in Laos, Dongfeng Liuzhou Motor ranks first among Chinese brands in market share.
