Top 10 Domestic Sedan and SUV Sales Rankings for September 2026 Released

In September 2026, sales data for the sedan and SUV segments of the domestic passenger car market were released. In the sedan market, the top ten models by sales were: Galaxy Starlight (60,871 units), BYD Seagull (38,650 units), BYD Dolphin (35,141 units), Tesla Model 3 (32,418 units), MG4 (25,556 units), Wuling (Silver Badge) Bingo (20,810 units), Chery QQ3 EV (19,583 units), BYD Seal 06 (16,008 units), Xiaomi SU7 (15,751 units), and Volkswagen Magotan (14,533 units). New energy models accounted for nine of the top ten. BYD had three models in the top ten. Galaxy Starlight outsold second-place BYD Seagull by more than 22,000 units. BYD Seagull and Dolphin both exceeded 35,000 units, up from August sales. In the SUV market, the top ten models by sales were: BYD Yuan (62,711 units), Tesla Model Y (52,727 units), Chery Tiggo 7/7Plus (33,832 units), Fangchengbao Tai 7 (32,144 units), Qiyuan Q05 (29,064 units), Geely Binyue/Binyue Pro (28,879 units), Chery JAECOO J5 (28,794 units), Leapmotor B10 (27,730 units), Galaxy Starship 7 (25,892 units), and BYD Song Pro (25,272 units). BYD Yuan and Song Pro both made the top ten, while Chery Tiggo 7/7Plus and JAECOO J5 both secured places.
