Recently, an autonomous delivery vehicle left a repair shop without paying a 20-yuan fee after having a tire patched. According to a video posted by the shop owner, the unmanned delivery vehicle pulled up to the shop entrance and requested a tire repair via voice message. After the tire was patched and the jack lowered, the vehicle announced, "Stopping at any time, please keep a 2-meter distance," and drove off without paying the 20-yuan repair fee. Later, the same autonomous delivery vehicle passed by the repair shop again. The owner drove after it to a nearby factory area and eventually collected the 20-yuan tire repair fee. In the video, the owner said the chase cost him more than 200 yuan in fuel. A person in charge of the delivery vehicle's operator said he would treat the owner to a meal. It remains unclear why the vehicle drove off immediately after the tire repair.
