In October, SAIC Maxus MAXUS wide-body light passenger family sold 6,011 units, a year-on-year increase of 108.35%. SAIC MAXUS wide-body light passenger vehicles include EV90, V90, V80 PLUS, V80 and other models. Among them, the V90 series is the flagship product of the wide-body light passenger family. The appearance adopts an octagonal banner grille, and the shape around the air intake on both sides is more visually impactful. In terms of power, the MAXUS V90 is equipped with a 2.0T diesel engine with a maximum power of 110 kilowatts and a peak torque of 375 N·m that meets the National VI emission standards.

Prior to this, SAIC Maxus and Nanjing Jiangning High-tech Zone Management Committee signed an investment agreement for SAIC Maxus's new generation of intelligent network architecture automobile industrialization construction project. At the same time, the MIFA-MPV engineering prototype vehicle body-in-white, the first product under this architecture, officially rolled off the assembly line, and is scheduled to be released in 2021 and put on the market in 2022.

SAIC MAXUS's new MIFA architecture can control a variety of products including horizontal FWD or 4WD, new energy architecture models, SUVs, MPVs, and pickup trucks. The rollout of MIFA-MPV's first engineering prototype car body in white marks the mature landing of SAIC MAXUS's new generation technology in the field of intelligent networked vehicles.
