The two parties will fully integrate their respective advantageous resources, carry out cooperation in the construction of charging and swapping power stations, and car network interaction, and strive to build 100 charging and swapping power stations nationwide in 2021, so that new energy vehicle users can use at least 100 million kWh of clean electricity.
NIO and State Grid EV Service will establish an in-depth cooperative relationship in the field of charging and swapping operations to enhance users' experience of energy supplement services, further reduce users' car costs, and promote the promotion of new energy vehicles. As the country's first cooperative car company, NIO and State Grid EV Service jointly launched activities to charge new energy vehicles using clean energy. Strive to achieve at least 100 million kWh of clean electric energy used by new energy vehicle users in 2021, and promote low-carbon throughout the life cycle of NEVs.
NIO and State Grid EV Service have launched a pilot V2G technology, which uses the power battery of an electric vehicle to feed power to the grid in reverse. In 2021, V2G technology will be promoted to encourage electric vehicle users to charge during low power consumption periods, and to discharge and peak power grids during peak power consumption periods to achieve peak shaving and valley filling, and improve grid capacity efficiency. This time, NIO and State Grid EV Service signed an in-depth cooperation framework agreement, which will further promote the development of the new energy vehicle industry.
