On January 13, the Hongqi brand announced its December sales figures: its dual sedan and wagon models—dubbed the "twin stars"—sold a combined total of 8,815 units. Of these, the S9T wagon accounted for 7,186 units, securing a spot among the top four best-selling mid-to-large premium sedans priced above RMB 350,000 for three consecutive months. Just 66 days after its launch, the S9T surpassed 30,000 confirmed pre-orders ("big orders"). Meanwhile, the newly launched S9 sedan received over 2,000 big orders within just two hours of its debut. User profile data reveals that Hongqi owners are predominantly elite professionals aged 31–40, with women accounting for over 40% and married couples with children making up 70% of buyers. In the "Jelalu 2025 H2 New Energy Brand Health Report," the S9T ranked first in Net Promoter Score (NPS) among mid-to-large premium sedans. Hongqi currently operates nearly 300 user centers and is present in 600 Huawei Experience Stores. Its first dedicated flagship store opened this month, with over 100 additional applications under review—90% of which come from former BBA (BMW, Benz, Audi) dealers. In 2026, Hongqi plans to further expand its product lineup with new SUV and MPV models.
