At its 6th Battery Day on January 13, SVOLT Energy announced the world’s first "Solid-State Electrolyte Transfer Technology." By combining electrolyte membrane transfer with a conformal gradient hot-pressing process, this innovation reduces the risk of thermal runaway by 25%. The company has already achieved small-scale production of its first-generation high-nickel semi-solid-state batteries, which have been deployed in a European passenger vehicle brand and deliver an energy density of 270 Wh/kg. Its second-generation product achieves an energy density of 342 Wh/kg and has completed trial flights integrated into eVTOL aircraft. Additionally, SVOLT plans to mass-produce mid-nickel semi-solid-state batteries targeting the mainstream mid-to-high-end passenger vehicle market in October 2026, offering an energy density of 245 Wh/kg. Furthermore, SVOLT unveiled its Longlinjia (Dragon Scale Armor) 3.0 prismatic cell technology, which supports thermal-electrical separation and CTC/CTB integrated designs. Mass production is scheduled for Q1 2027, with initial deployment on a customer’s new platform.
