In 2025, Great Wall Motor’s overseas sales exceeded 500,000 units, up 11.68% year-on-year, accounting for 38.2% of its total annual sales—a record high. Affected by the contraction of the Russian market in the first half of the year, the company swiftly adjusted its strategy, significantly increasing investments in Latin America and ASEAN markets. Domestically, performance varied across its five sub-brands: Haval sold 758,600 vehicles for the year, a 7.41% year-on-year increase; Wey achieved sales of 100,000 units, surging 86.29% year-on-year thanks to its "Twin Peaks" strategy; Tank brand sold 232,700 units, maintaining its leadership in the premium off-road segment; GWM Pickup recorded global sales of 181,700 units, extending its 28-year reign as market leader; while Ora remains in the midst of its transformation. Overall, Great Wall’s new energy vehicle portfolio is still dominated by plug-in hybrids (accounting for 90%), highlighting an urgent need to accelerate its pure electric technology deployment.
