On January 15, data from the Residual Value Research Committee showed that the Xiaomi SU7 ranked first in the Q4 2025 one-year residual value ranking for mainstream all-electric brands, with a residual value rate of 70.22%, surpassing Tesla, Porsche, and domestic rivals such as the Zeekr 001 and Avatr 12. Its high residual value is attributed to its technological advantages and integration within Xiaomi’s ecosystem. With the pre-sale of the next-generation SU7 launching in January 2026, the outgoing model faces some pressure; however, Lei Jun emphasized that its residual value performance remains among the industry leaders. The new model comes standard across all trims with LiDAR and a 700 TOPS chip. The Pro and Max variants are upgraded to 752V and 897V high-voltage platforms respectively, enabling a maximum range replenishment of 670 kilometers in just 15 minutes. The Pro version achieves a CLTC-rated range of 902 kilometers, with a starting price only RMB 14,000 higher than the previous model.
