The Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC) recently released the third batch of typical cases from its special rectification campaign targeting online misconduct in the automotive industry, naming and taking action against multiple self-media accounts and platforms. Accounts such as "Wanneng de Da Xiong" (Almighty Big Bear), "Blood Jingqi," and "Jinrong Sa Jie Miao Zhangmen" (Financial Sajie Miaozhangmen) were cited for disparaging users of specific brands, maliciously hyping negative corporate news, and distorting financial report interpretations—actions that incited group antagonism, smeared automakers, and stirred public panic. Additionally, platforms including "Autohome" and "PCauto" (Pacific Auto) were also legally sanctioned for conducting non-compliant vehicle evaluations and publishing biased, misleading reviews that distorted public perception. This phase of the crackdown specifically targeted behaviors such as provoking conflicts between brands, defaming enterprises, and disrupting market order, with all involved accounts having been handled in accordance with relevant regulations.
