On January 28, Lei Jun shared on Weibo Xiaomi Auto’s 2025 performance report: the Xiaomi SU7 achieved annual deliveries of 258,200 units, securing the top spot among new-energy vehicle startups and surpassing the Tesla Model 3 (200,400 units) to become China's best-selling premium all-electric sedan. Meanwhile, the YU7, which began deliveries in July last year, recorded sales of 153,700 units in just six months, ranking fourth among new-energy startups and becoming the highest-selling all-electric SUV. Additionally, the SU7 topped the "2025 China Automotive Residual Value Report" with a one-year residual value retention rate of 86.05%, outperforming both the Tesla Model X and Porsche Taycan. Lei Jun emphasized that Xiaomi has shifted toward “anti-hype marketing,” focusing instead on product strength and information accuracy. The SU7 Pro variant boasts a CLTC-rated range of 902 km, powered by a 96.3 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack and a 752V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, showcasing Xiaomi’s technological prowess.
