The all-electric Porsche Cayenne has entered mass production at the Slovakian plant, with the high-performance Cayenne Turbo EV as the launch model. In launch control mode, the vehicle delivers a staggering 1,139 horsepower and peak torque of 1,270 N·m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds. All variants come standard with a dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, featuring regenerative braking capable of recovering up to 600 kW of energy, with nearly 97% of braking handled by the electric motors. Both models are equipped with Porsche’s self-developed 113 kWh battery pack, which uses a high-nickel NMC cathode and silicon-carbon anode, and debuts Porsche’s new bidirectional cooling plate technology. The chassis comes standard with active suspension; the Turbo version adds a torque vectoring system and offers optional rear-wheel steering and ceramic brakes. Externally, it retains Porsche’s signature design language, with a closed-off front fascia, fastback silhouette, and distinctive blue-accented headlights highlighting its electric identity.
