U.S. publication *Motor Trend* has conducted real-world testing of Lamborghini’s new entry-level supercar, the Temerario, which features a twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid powertrain delivering a combined output of 907 horsepower and 800 N·m of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 97 km/h in just 2.2 seconds, making it the third-fastest gasoline-powered car ever tested by the magazine—trailing only the Ferrari SF90 Stradale Assetto Fiorano and the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Even more impressively, the Temerario completed the quarter-mile (402 meters) in 9.58 seconds with a trap speed of 238.9 km/h, setting a new record for internal-combustion vehicles—even outpacing the lighter SF90. Despite its relatively high curb weight of 1,898 kg, which impacts braking performance (requiring 29.3 meters to stop from 97 km/h), the car excels in mid-to-high-speed acceleration and sustained power delivery. In handling tests, it lapped the "figure-eight" course in 22.3 seconds—a result on par with high-performance icons like the Porsche 918 Spyder.
