The Toyota Century Coupe concept is nearing production, with an official launch expected in 2027. The new model will be powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 plug-in hybrid system, delivering over 800 horsepower—significantly surpassing the current Century G60’s 425-horsepower V8 hybrid. It will come standard with Toyota’s E-Four electric all-wheel-drive system and be paired with either an 8-speed or 10-speed automatic transmission. As Toyota’s flagship luxury marque, the Century Coupe targets rivals like Rolls-Royce and Bentley. It features a two-door coupe-SUV silhouette, finished in orange-red with a black roof. Design highlights include hidden door handles, a pillarless (B-pillar-free) structure, and full-width taillights that emphasize its premium character. Inside, the cabin adopts a four-seat layout, equipped with a yoke-style steering wheel and a compact central touchscreen. Production will be limited, with a starting price in Japan exceeding ¥30 million (approximately RMB 1.326 million). High-end variants are expected to range from ¥50 million to ¥70 million, positioning it squarely against the Rolls-Royce Wraith.
