Recently, the Horizon Powertrain Intelligent Control Center Laboratory officially commenced operations. The lab has expanded from 30 square meters in 2018 to over 600 square meters and is now equipped with 18 Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) test benches and 21 ECU network and cybersecurity test benches, comprehensively covering critical testing areas including software functionality, network communication, diagnostic security, and cybersecurity. Utilizing a hardware-in-the-loop simulation system, the lab can perform integrated validation of sensor accuracy, actuator logic, vehicle-level coordinated control, and OTA stability, ensuring product safety and regulatory compliance. The laboratory has established development processes aligned with international standards such as ASPICE CL3, ISO 26262, and ISO/SAE 21434, achieving a test automation rate exceeding 90%. Looking ahead, Horizon Powertrain plans to expand into multi-controller collaborative testing, system-level validation, and remote international testing, while integrating big data and AI technologies to drive the evolution of powertrain control systems toward greater intelligence and reliability.
