On March 18, Chery officially launched blind pre-orders for the Exeed EX7 at its "Battery Night" event. As the first model of Exeed’s 3.0 era, the EX7 is positioned as a mid-to-large luxury five-seater new energy SUV targeting the RMB 200,000 price segment. The vehicle debuts globally with an aerospace-grade EMB (Electro-Mechanical Brake) wire-controlled braking system, delivering a braking response time of just 90 milliseconds and achieving a 100–0 km/h stopping distance of 33 meters. Having passed 173 national standard tests, it becomes the first vehicle to receive official EMB regulatory certification. The EX7 offers both extended-range and pure electric powertrains: the extended-range version delivers over 1,500 km of combined range with a fuel consumption of 5.8 L/100 km under low-battery conditions, while the pure electric variant features an 800V architecture and a maximum range of 726 km. Standard across all trims are the Falcon 700 intelligent driving system, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip, a 23-speaker audio system, ventilated, heated, and massaging seats for all occupants, and a spacious five-seat cabin with a 3,000 mm wheelbase. With its upgraded Flying Fish Chassis 3.0, Snow Leopard AWD 2.0, and numerous premium features previously reserved for million-yuan-class vehicles now made accessible, the EX7 champions “luxury democratization,” directly addressing core family-user demands for intelligence, safety, and practicality.
