On March 19, Xiaomi Auto officially launched the new-generation SU7, introducing three variants: Standard, Pro, and Max, priced at RMB 219,900, RMB 249,900, and RMB 303,900 respectively. Although these prices are higher than those of the previous generation, they are RMB 10,000 lower than the initial pre-sale prices. Lei Jun explained that despite a roughly RMB 20,000 increase in raw material costs and the phasing out of favorable purchase tax policies, the company chose not to pass these additional costs onto consumers. The new models feature significant performance upgrades: the Pro variant offers a CLTC-rated range of 902 km, the Max version delivers 835 km, and the Standard model achieves 720 km. With fast charging, the Max variant can gain 670 km of range in just 15 minutes, while the Standard version adds 450 km in the same time. All variants come standard with Xiaomi’s advanced HAD (High-level Autonomous Driving) system, including LiDAR, 4D millimeter-wave radar, and Xiaomi’s self-developed integrated four-in-one module. Powered by dual 4nm chips, the vehicle delivers a total computing power of 700 TOPS and incorporates the XLA cognitive large model along with AES (Advanced Emergency Steering) assistance. Since its launch in March 2024, Xiaomi Auto has sold over 380,000 units, and it has set a delivery target of 550,000 vehicles for 2025.
