While based on C-NCAP standard test conditions, this evaluation increased the speed of both vehicles by 20%, resulting in collision energy 1.44 times higher than the standard—simulating a more severe frontal crash scenario typical of urban arterial roads. During the test, the SU7’s A-, B-, and C-pillars remained structurally intact. Airbags deployed as designed, and pretensioner seatbelts activated normally. The battery pack showed no abnormalities.
