The U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) recently announced that Toyota Motor Corporation will recall 144,200 Lexus vehicles in the United States due to a risk that the rearview camera may fail to display an image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, potentially increasing the risk of a collision. The recall covers the 2022–2025 NX250 and NX350 models, the 2023–2026 RX350 models, and the 2024–2026 TX350 models. Toyota will repair the affected vehicles free of charge by updating the relevant software or replacing components to ensure the backup camera functions properly.
