In 2025, China's "New Big Four" premium EV players—Huawei’s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA), Li Auto, NIO, and Zeekr—delivered impressive performances, collectively selling 1.5455 million vehicles throughout the year. Among them, Huawei’s HIMA led the pack with 589,100 units sold, followed by Li Auto at 406,300 units, NIO at 326,000 units, and Zeekr at 224,100 units. These results highlight how Chinese brands are rapidly rising in the premium automotive segment by leveraging their strengths in electrification and intelligent technologies. However, these newcomers still face intense competition amid financial pressures, cyclical industry fluctuations, and strong counterattacks from established luxury automakers. Going forward, the competitive landscape of China’s premium car market is likely to undergo continuous reshaping.
