Despite slight fluctuations in sales in 2025, China remains BMW's largest single market globally. In fiscal year 2025, BMW delivered over 2.46 million vehicles worldwide, with fully electric models accounting for 17.9% of total deliveries, and M brand sales reaching a record high. Facing challenges, BMW continues to ramp up its investments in China, totaling over RMB 120 billion to date, and has established its largest R&D network outside Germany. In 2026, BMW will launch an aggressive product offensive in China, planning to introduce approximately 20 new models. Among them, the all-new BMW iX3 Long Wheelbase will be produced in Shenyang, integrating BMW’s sixth-generation electric drive system, the "Driving Super Brain," and localized intelligent technologies—truly "tailored for China." Meanwhile, BMW is deepening collaborations with partners such as Momenta, Alibaba, Huawei, and CATL to build a localized closed-loop ecosystem spanning R&D, production, and the supply chain, accelerating its transformation toward electrification and intelligent mobility.
