In 2025, China’s auto market welcomes a new wave of contenders—the high-end new energy vehicle trio named Qijing, Yijing, and Zhijing—all bearing the character “Jing” (meaning “realm” or “domain”). The Qijing GT7, powered by Huawei technologies, brings advanced intelligent driving capabilities into mainstream price segments, marking a key achievement of GAC Group’s strategic collaboration with Huawei. The Yijing, developed by Dongfeng Motor, is deeply integrated with Huawei’s ecosystem and leverages a user co-creation model to significantly reduce R&D trial-and-error costs. Meanwhile, the Zhijing serves as Buick SAIC-GM’s pivotal product in its electric transformation, emphasizing localization and demand-driven development to achieve parity between EV and ICE vehicle pricing, thereby strengthening its overall product portfolio. These three models are entering the premium new energy segment via distinct strategic paths, collectively steering the industry toward greater maturity and rationality. Ultimately, their success will hinge on execution capabilities.
