Tesla has officially discontinued the Model S and Model X and has stopped accepting new consumer orders for these vehicles. At the time of discontinuation, fewer than 600 new units remained in global inventory, primarily located in the United States, Canada, and Europe. The Model S began deliveries in the second quarter of 2012, while the Model X started deliveries in the third quarter of 2015. Over their production lifetimes, the two models collectively delivered more than 610,000 units. Starting with the launch of Model 3 deliveries, Tesla combined the quarterly production and delivery figures for the Model S and Model X. Beginning in the fourth quarter of 2023, following the start of Cybertruck deliveries, data for these two models and the Cybertruck have been grouped under an "Other Vehicles" category and are no longer reported separately.
