Rolls-Royce has unveiled its latest bespoke coachbuild creation, the Nightingale, at its Goodwood headquarters—the first model in the brand’s new “Coachbuild Series.” Limited to just 100 units globally, the Nightingale is available exclusively by invitation to the marque’s core collectors, with a starting price of $9.5 million (approximately RMB 64.77 million), making it one of the world’s most expensive all-electric vehicles. Built on a dedicated electric platform, the Nightingale features a high-performance dual-motor all-wheel-drive system, though specific powertrain details remain undisclosed. Rolls-Royce describes the driving experience as “sailing across a tranquil sea.” Measuring 5.76 meters in length, the vehicle adopts an open-top design with a two-seat layout, blending retro and contemporary design cues. At the front sits a near-one-meter-wide Pantheon grille—a signature Rolls-Royce feature—adorned with a red double-R badge, paying homage to experimental models from the 1920s. Additional exterior highlights include minimalist vertical blade-style LED light strips and a long-hood, short-cabin proportion that enhances the car’s sense of luxury and gravitas.
