Tesla has quietly updated the official website page for its Semi electric truck, revealing the final specifications of the production model. The vehicle will be offered in two variants—Standard Range and Long Range—both featuring a tri-motor rear axle with a combined output of 800 kW and support for the MCS 3.2 charging standard. The Standard Range version delivers a range of 523 kilometers when fully loaded at 37 metric tons, with a curb weight under 9 metric tons. The Long Range variant extends the range to 805 kilometers, with a curb weight of approximately 10.4 metric tons. Both models can recharge to 60% state of charge in under 30 minutes and come equipped with an electric power take-off (ePTO) system rated up to 25 kW. Tesla emphasized that the Semi is designed for autonomous driving. Compared to the ranges promised at its 2017 unveiling—482 km and 804 km—the current production versions show a modest improvement. While Tesla has not yet disclosed updated pricing, some customers have indicated that prices have risen significantly. The company expects to begin volume production of the Semi in the first half of this year.
